Since 1985, Manuel Corrales, Jr. has been a trusted advocate for individuals, families, and communities across San Diego County. With a practice focused on employment litigation, personal injury, environmental law, land use, federal Indian law, and wildfire litigation, Mr. Corrales brings decades of trial-tested experience to every case he takes on.

After graduating from Brigham Young University Law School, Mr. Corrales began his legal career clerking for the Hon. H. Vern Payne, Chief Justice of the New Mexico Supreme Court. He went on to work with respected defense and plaintiff-side firms before establishing a practice centered on fighting for those who have been wronged.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Corrales has successfully tried more than 75 jury and non-jury cases. His work spans a wide range of civil matters from catastrophic injury claims and employment discrimination lawsuits to land use disputes and litigation involving tribal governments and public utility wildfires.

In addition to his trial work, Mr. Corrales has handled numerous appeals and writs, earning favorable reversals and outcomes for his clients at the appellate level. Service Rooted in Discipline and Dedication

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Corrales served four years of active duty before pursuing his legal education. That foundation of discipline, service, and resilience still informs his approach today, both in and out of the courtroom.

He is also a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and an active martial arts and kickboxing instructor. His training brings focus, balance, and perseverance to his legal practice, along with a deep respect for the people he serves.
